Data collection

We use Google Analytics to track aggregate (not personally identifiable) information about our website traffic. This allows us to draw up quarterly and annual statistics reports about the number of unique visitors to the site, pages most visited, documents most downloaded, the countries that users are browsing from, the technology they used to browse the website, etc. We share such statistics with our funders, as it helps us account for our work to those who support us. The collected data also helps the EU FPC Secretariat to continually refine its communication strategies through testing and learning.

Those of us who are subscribed to one of the EU FPC’s mailing lists, have been asked to give an email address for delivery. We do not use your address for any other purpose other than emailing you relevant and timely EU FPC updates. You may cancel your subscription at any time by clicking ”unsubscribe” at the footer of the email. Our mailing list is stored on Google Drive. Our newsletters are sent through MailerLite, which tracks basic user behaviour such as newsletter open rates, clicking behaviour, location, and device used to read the newsletter. None of the data collected and analysed is personally identifiable. Like for the website traffic statistics, we share such statistics with our funders through regular monitoring reports. The collected data also helps the EU FPC Secretariat to continually refine its communication strategies through testing and learning processes.
