This Privacy Policy applies solely to our online activities and is valid for visitors and users of our website regarding the information they share and/or collect on the EU Food Policy Coalition website. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.

Data collection

We use Google Analytics to track aggregate (not personally identifiable) information about our website traffic. This allows us to draw up quarterly and annual statistics reports about the number of unique visitors to the site, pages most visited, documents most downloaded, the countries that users are browsing from, the technology they used to browse the website, etc. We share such statistics with our funders, as it helps us account for our work to those who support us. The collected data also helps the EU FPC Secretariat to continually refine its communication strategies through testing and learning.

Newsletters

Those of us who are subscribed to one of the EU FPC’s mailing lists, have been asked to give an email address for delivery. We do not use your address for any other purpose other than emailing you relevant and timely EU FPC updates. You may cancel your subscription at any time by clicking ”unsubscribe” at the footer of the email. Our mailing list is stored on Google Drive. Our newsletters are sent through MailerLite, which tracks basic user behaviour such as newsletter open rates, clicking behaviour, location, and device used to read the newsletter. None of the data collected and analysed is personally identifiable. Like for the website traffic statistics, we share such statistics with our funders through regular monitoring reports. The collected data also helps the EU FPC Secretariat to continually refine its communication strategies through testing and learning processes.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for the functioning of the site and can be consulted in the table below. That’s all our cookies do. We do not collect any personally identifiable information or track you or advertise. Cookies are managed in your browser’s settings, and that’s where they can be manually disabled for this site.

Surveys

From time to time, we may invite web visitors to answer an online survey or questionnaire. We appreciate your participation as it helps us improve our work. Any data collected through these forms is used only for the purpose stated.

Storage and transfer

EU FPC does not use, share, rent, transfer or sell your information with anyone except as described in this privacy policy.

Our web servers are located in the United States. Our mailing lists are hosted on Google Drive and MailerLite.
